Meet Robin Nolan
Born in an evacuation hospital in Vietnam, the son of musical entertainers, a life of nomadic travel followed for Robin Nolan. He broke onto the international music scene in his early 20’s with pioneering recordings that spread worldwide quickly cementing his reputation as a “guitar players guitarist”.
Since then he’s graced the stages of Montreux, North Sea Jazz, the Royal Albert Hall and Jazz at Lincoln Center. George Harrison called him a favourite, Bill Wyman had him in his band, and Hank Marvin has frequently joined him live on stage.
Legendary in the world of Gypsy Jazz he’s become one of the most respected guitarists since Django Reinhardt, headlining every major Django Fest across the globe taking in multiple awards and a loyal following of guitar lovers.
His modern approach borrow’s influence from other styles; Latin tangos, Brazilian bossa nova, Indian classical music and a heavy dose of classic rock & blues.
